Perhaps you haven't heard of "The Bump Rule," put into place because the University of Alabama Head Coach always seems to "bump into" recruits. NOT a violation or considered a visit anymore, but there are certain things you can and cannot do when you "Bump Into" a recruit.
Still, proving a coach violated this is virtually impossible, and so what? The NCAA has lost it's bite after Miami walked free.
It's pretty easy to prove he was on a plane with them. Since Cameron had his in home with Dupre yesterday, the "in-home" would be extended the entire day so he's covered there. If he's on the return flight, however, it would be a violation. Bumping into recruits at their school is different than being on the same flight while they travel to visit another university. Justify it all you want, but I bet you Cameron is NOT on the same return flight.

nothing unusual, cam probably going to visit adoree. if so, very smart recruiting by LSU to put cam on same plane.

There's plausible deniability if you "bump" into them at school. Hard to argue you weren't on the flight.

"Bumping" into a recruit at a school, practice or game is a secondary violation. I don't know what "rule" you're reading.

You don't know WTF you're talking abou
So coaches happen to bump into players all the time and never get any kind of sanctions from it? Seems to me you dont know what you're talking about.
quote:
The problem the NCAA saw was that coaches would "bump" into players and make illegal contact; instead of finding ways around that issue, the rule to eliminate the potential violation was made.

Jesus Christ. Really?
You know how many flights there are out of Nola this weekend? Odds are not long for them to be on the same flight. It's a big weekend....last of the year.

quote:So you're telling me that Coaches now have to ask for a list of occupants from an Airline to determine what flight they can take? The Airline ain't providing that for anyone not named Homeland Security. And that they are not allowed to visit recruits that live in the same area that other recruits are visiting the LAST weekend of recruiting?
There's plausible deniability if you "bump" into them at school. Hard to argue you weren't on the flight.
Come on, man!

UCLA reporter seems butthurt that Cam was on the same flight as the Louisiana Trio. Check this out I thought it was a funny read.

"Cameron actually sat next to dupre on the flight" and "there is no word on whether Cameron had any contact with Dupre on the flight" made me laugh.

That reporter took that "story" from here and did not cite his source. He should be notified.

Wow that reporter needs to change his meds. This is why you should never spend a significant amount of time on the left coast.
