I live in SF. There's here, then everywhere else. I'm talking about rent, of course.

I was looking at Santa barbera or san diego. I have no idea what I want to do, and Im still technically in college at LSU. The thing is, I was hoping Cali people would be friendly. People who moved from Louisiana to Cali, what do you like better?

Are you going to be supporting yourself or are your parents footing the bill? Does your career offer oppertunities their that will provide you with a living wage. If you are not making 6 figures a year life is pretty difficult to live alone in that part of the country.

I live in downtown SD. It's pretty expensive but very close to work. Live right above an Albertsons, a few blocks away from bars, restaurants, clubs and the baseball park. Pay $1750 for a 1 BR but I save a lot in gas money so it evens out. I fill my tank once a month at most unless I go on road trips. Weather is unbeatable. I do not miss 20 degree weather at all.

From the center of SD county, there are about five colleges, three major active military bases, miles of beach shoreline, five amusement attractions, and unbeatable weather. Unless one is an old retiree on a budget, you cant not like it.

This. I was hoping to meet girls here too. Another avenue is joining the film industry, but I heard LA is a giant version of Baton Rouge.

They mostly are. I made a bunch of friends out there. They are way more liberal than Louisiana people. Be prepared for that.
