Does Microsoft have day 1 release?

I think they're finally starting to catch up in that area.

Not sure how well an all digital one would do considering all the backlash they got about used games. If anything that proved people still care too much about trading/selling games and using services like Gamefly/Redbox. Doubt that rumor is true.

If someone is buying this they understand they won't be able to play used games or use Gamefly for that matter.

That backlash came from Sony fanboys. If you read any forums like the subreddit for the console, everyone who was going to buy an Xbox One was not happy with the decision to not go all digital.

I would buy it or trade my current One in for it.

I'm sure anyone with a decent Internet connection who already owns a One would do the same. So 50-75% of the Microsoft Market

Why? because like it or not it's what the UI / Kinnect / HyperV OS was designed for, not popping in and out disc. Seemlessly switching from one local application on the hard drive to another. And like it or not all digital media is the very realistic near future for gaming, we've discussed this 1.3 million times here. no point in arguing. Steam Model, death of brick & mortar stores (Blockbuster), etc. It's hilarious the uproar the PS fanbois stirred up about The One's E3 debut on the subject, yet had been downloading games Day 1 for a year from PStore at that point. ignorance.
