Liberty vs. Fever, July 1998, Arthur Ashe Stadium, Queens. LINK

Problem is you'd have to wait until late in the season to do this since NBA is a winter game. I could see a game on Saint Patrick's Day weekend in Oakland, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, Atlanta, Charlotte, Orlando, or Miami. The weather in these cities in March is always warm and mild.

all-star game.
There's an idea. Sun Life Stadium in Miami during the day in February, Miami's driest month, might work.

Stupid idea.
Easier to do than playing in London.

Outdoor stadium? Not interested. Street court? I'd watch. One of those street courts in New York with the tall green chain link fence to keep the crowd off the court, street ball!

But its always been my dream to watch an NBA game played street style. How cool would it be to see Lebron facing up Durant at the top of the key on the blacktop with rain pouring down

That would be awesome. I'd want it to be hood as frick though.

Pretty sure a preseason game was at Arthur Ashe once involving the Suns.

In light of seeing these NHL games played in outdoor stadiums, I began to wonder why doesn't the NBA try this sometime.

Wind doesn't frick up a slap shot. It certainly will frick up a 3 pointer.
