My main question with Sanders isn't whether he can still protect the rim, it's whether another skinny rim protector solves our defensive problems.

Meh

I see what you're saying but I think he is a notch above the "skinny" label

Bref has sanders at 6'11" 235

They have dwight at 6'11" 240

Ben Wallace 6'9" 240

Noah 6'11" 232

Henson is at 6'11" 220

Now those could be off give or take. But what Sanders lacks in girth he makes up for w length I think.

Fwiw in the 5 games in which sanders got 30+ mpg this season, he's averaging 11/9/3 with a 55% FG. He's only played in 15

Sanders would definitely be an interesting pairing with Davis. I think it could work.

The thing with Sanders is that he's under contract for a lonnnnggg time at 11 million per.

If he reverts back to where he was and even takes a step forward playing with Davis, then its a good contract.

If he never gets healthy, and his previous stats were a mirage, we would be f'd.

I don't know. Its definitely an interesting thought. I wouldn't be too thrilled with getting Mayo.

I haven't really watched Sanders much at all maybe a few highlights videos here and there so I don't really know how he plays

I just hear about the guy and assume he will be good since he was invited to that USA basketball camp before the season

We don't need an AllStar at center we need someone to compliment AD so the question for those who watch him and for Dell and Monty is Sanders the best and most attainable fit for Davis in the front court?

Which makes me revisit the question if I see him as a long term 4 or a long term 5 and still I am unsure
