the only negative thing that could be said for this episode is that it focused a little too much on character backstory and not enough on the killing/investigation.

So many people don't understand that this show isn't about the murder/investigation.
It's about Marty and Rust. The investigation is just what's being used to tell their stories

I think some of y'all are going to need to accept that the real story is the characters themselves, and not so much the investigation
