Its 45+ here in SoCal
30's are the new 20's

According to the OT brain trust, any woman over 25 is just flat out old. Therefore an OT cougar would be about 24.

Talking with the wife and she has a very attractive friend who likes younger men and is 38 my wife says she is too young to be a cougar...I say BS, any woman over about 35 and who likes younger men is a cougar..right?
No, they have to be at least 15 to 20 years older than me and I'm 34.

Not sure of the answer, but young men of the world should be very thankful that "cougaring" is now a celebrated, accepted, and hip concept.
When I was younger, all I could think about was older women, but it was kind of frowned upon back then (I'm close to 50).
Now, a 40+ year old, good looking woman that can pull 28 year old guys is a celebrity amongst her friend group.
Seriously guys, y'all should be thankful for this.

Metaphors do not have precise definitions.

Agreed. I also believe that it's a term created by those women to help them self justify them having sexual relations with guys that are young enough to be their son in many cases. NTTAWWT

Dude Age < (Cougar age) * 1/2 + 7
I'd say this is pretty accurate.
However, if she's 38 and the guy is only 26 I'd definitely say Cougar

I just wanted that disclaimer in there before I get ripped for posting that.

Whether a sabretooth would say it or not has no bearing on its truth or falsity.

That's what we call "denial".

I used to "date" this woman when I was 20. She was 39. She was pretty hot.

Dayyyuummmmm.
It's gotta just be a sex thing... You can't have much in common with a 19 year old dude.

I always tell him I wouldn't be with him if he acted his age & didn't have his shite together. He says he wouldn't be with me if I looked or acted 40. It's pretty awesome.
