The skills challenge use to be the best part until they watered it down.

Yea... do it in place of the pro bowl. Thats what i was getting at. But make it a much larger event. Red carpet, celebrities, more events / awards, etc.
And if you look at what the awards are given out for, besides the MVP, ROY offense and D, Offense and D player of the year, coach of the year, etc. The rest are crap.
They dont give an award for the best player at each position, they dont give an award for best unit at each spot, dont give an award to any D player except for D player of the year and rookie DPOY, etc.
Im saying make it like the NFL awards show, but way bigger and better with more legit awards.

How would that be worse than the pro bowl?
The pro bowl shouldnt even be called the pro bowl, due to the fact that 30% of the guys playing in it are replacements since some of the real "pro bowlers" dont wanna play in that bullshite.
And now you have retired players that are broadcasters playing in it.
