Magee's great back and his yards/carry were impressive, but Hill had the uncanny ability to make a huge gain when no opening was there.
Fournette should be able to do the same.

Yaw Yaw say it aint over till the ink is dry on the dotted line. Jus wait till I sign my contract as the new Recruiting Coordinator and Defensive Line coach at Alabama. Fournette is mine and any Louisiana recruit that we really want too. Yaw Yaw, Crimson Tide football!

Since Les put all his eggs in the LF basket (No RBs in '13 or '12 class), he better hope LF isn't a bust.

please remember that ware, hilliard, and hill all stated games (in different years) as a true freshman. it didn't happen this past year because their were no true freshman on the team.

Not day 1. They didn't start until later in the season.

Not against Iowa. Wisconsin was rated just behind them in total defense this season at #7. However, Wisconsin finished #5 in rushing defense. IMO, Iowa didn't have any problem coming up and tackling Magee or Blue(not intimidating at their size and weight) the way they did with Hill. Hill was making those guys pay a price for attempting to tackle him.

Magee is going to have to become very smart and disciplined at getting the most out of every play. He will need to avoid having too many negative plays which could make the offensive play-calling move away from running with him and putting more pressure on whomever is the QB to make the play.

Magee & Hilliard will both be SRs, on a young young young offense otherwise. THey are going to have to step up. If LF proves to be worthy, he should get equal carries to Hilliard

Not sure what you classify him as, but Jeremy Hill committed in January of 2012. His first year on campus was 2012.

Yes, but he was essentially '11 for all intents and purposes because he could leave after this year, and he did.

LF and Magee will be splitting carries. and it wouldn't surprise me if Magee got the majority......unless LF just absolutely goes beastmode

I could see Hilliard and McGee leading the way early on in the season as LF gets fully up to speed, but late in the season, it will probably be the LF show. That is of course, if Hilliard stays which is still unknown, at least to my knowledge.

Even with Hill's departure to the NFL, the Arab position remains as strong and deep as ever. If Blue decides to come back for his extra year, we should coin them "the Four Horsemen".

This is so damn stupid. If Fournette only gets 900 rushing yards, then Magee has to be pushing 1400-1500.

Watch White and Gordon at Wiconsin. They won't have that many carries, but that is how the split will be. I see Fournette finishing with more yards because of a higher ypc ( 1200-1300 yards) and Magee still around 1000-1200 range

I believe that Magee will be the feature back next year and will be more productive than Fournette.

Well if Magee is the feature back.. he better be more productive than LF.
but I agree with you overall.
It's always better for a rookie to not have all the pressure against SEC defenses, week-in week-out, even with a guy like Fournette..
