Who else is competing with him that has a legit shot? He took almost all the reps in the scrimmages I saw. Clear front runner.

Is Dakota dean not in the running for the 2B spot? I thought I read somewhere that he can play all infield positions?

I also think chinea's bat would be huge if he got the opportunity to get into a groove. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Moore play catcher and first.

2B will be Robertson or Zardon. Chinea should get plenty of playing time early

Do you think there's any chance we see Bregman behind the plate if moore or chinea don't produce?

He's a serviceable SS, but he isn't some defensive prodigy.

Why not? Do you think he is the best defensive SS on the team, or that he would not be that good behind the plate?

I take it you would like to see Bregman behind the plate as well?

I don't think it should be option a, but I don't see why not if moore or chinea don't work out. I'm just not sure who would replace him at SS. Ibarra? Whoever loses out on the 2b battle? I don't know enough about the young guys.
