First round starts tomorrow night!
LINK
Will be interesting to see if Federer decline becomes more obvious.
Screamers Sharapova and Azarinka
Serena still rules?
Andy Murray trying to maintain momentum.
Cant wait.... love staying up late to watch matches.

Djokovic will cruise to the final, easy draw.

Yes... Nadal and Fed have to run the gauntlet... Joker got very favorable draw.

Yea all the talent is on the top half.

You don't like women who scream?

Nadal, Fed, Murray, Del Potro. All top half. If you told me those were the four semi finalists I wouldn't be shocked.
Bottom is PEDjokovic and his PED pal Ferrer.

In bed yes...on Tennis court no

I read that Rafa has a tough draw and whining about the court speed. I still think he rolls. Would be shocked if we don't get another Rafa/Djoke endurance contest.
As I said in another thread, DelPo is playing with two racquets since he can't find anything he likes to replace his old ones. Hard to see him getting through two weeks if he is worried about his equipment.

Rafael Nadal (No. 1 seed):
If Nadal wins his second Australian Open title, he would become the first man in the Open Era to complete the career Slam twice.
To do so he’ll have to navigate a dangerous “Group of Death” that is littered with dangerous players. He’ll open against the tricky Bernard Tomic, who once again is playing his best tennis on home soil. His potential third-round opponent? The dynamic Gael Monfils, who took him to three sets in the final of the Qatar Open last week. A resurgent Lleyton Hewitt, who beat Federer in the Brisbane International final, looms in the fourth round. Nadal is surely the favorite to win each match, but the question is whether the matches themselves, which could easily go four or five sets, will take their toll.
Survive the first week and he’s projected to play del Potro, the most dangerous man outside the Big Four, and then a potential semifinal against either Murray, Federer or Tsonga. All that and then he could play a fairly well-rested Djokovic in the final. It’s hard to see a scenario in which Nadal could have drawn a tougher road to the title.
The Joker has a cake walk compared to everybody else! Luck of the draw.

It's been too damn long since America has had a premier male tennis player.
I'm rooting for Murray.

Isner is highest rated American... nice player but....
You are right. Would be nice to have a dog in the fight headed into quarters for some of these majors but no likely anytime soon.

Rafa's draw is fvcking bullshite. Djoker will waltz to the final.
I hope Rafa will be there to meet him, but I'm not very confident. Djoker in 4 against whoever he faces.

Would be friggin' amazing for Rafa to reach final this year with that draw. He literally has tough matches all the way through tournament.

Anyone know of any good people to follow for tennis betting?

Nadal clearly got the tougher road to the final than Djoker, but that's just the luck of the draw. But I'm not quite sure I would call his early rounds the "Group of Death." Tomic can be tricky for some of the lower seeds in the first round. But this is the guy who claims to use "tanking as a weapon" against some guys to get back in matches. Sorry, but this clown has no shot against Nadal.
And the dynamic Monfils...all he's really good for is a bunch of highlight clips, usually in a losing effort. Odds are stronger that Nadal will probably play either Sock or Harrison instead of Monfils.
Resurgent Hewitt because he beat Federer, who has been on a decline now for the past three years? Sorry, I just can't see any of these matches going five sets with Nadal, no more than any of the early round matchups that Djoker would face.
