Even if you have a prescription with 2 refills, pharmacists are not allowed to fill the script.

Had to edit after a few people corrected me on it. Apparently the hydrocodone 10mg/500 are no longer supposed to be dispensed. The FDA apparently only allows a lower dose of acetominophin like NORCO.

BS, I just got my wife's script filled at Rite aid for Loratab 10 mg's TODAY

I agree. But in this subject science defines "addiction" and "physical dependence" as 2 different things, at least the link that Va posted did. IMO physical dependence is the same thing as addiction. You don't have to blow all your money, steal, or commit crimes to be an addict in my book. Being addicted means you stop taking the drug and your body gets physically ill, meaning you are "physically dependent". Buts that's just my opinion

good. People can easily hurt themselves with such huge doses. 500 is fricking ridiculous. 4 or 5 and depending on your body type you could die

Of course I do. 99.99% of adults could take that and be fine.

Can still cause damage to your liver with regular use. No reason to have that much when you can take 325 mg hydros

The 500mg is Tylenol. Not hydrocodone BTW.

Nah. Plenty of 10/325's to go around, but I'm sure the price will be going up.

They're sure as shite still writing 5/500. I've gotten two scripts in the last 4 days after a tooth extraction

A lot of doctors, if not most, don't know about this. They can dispense the meds with more than 325mg until 1-14-14. After that it'll be illegal. Most pharmacies are out of stock and not ordering new, but can dispense what they have until then.

I wish my doctor would've known, those two weak arse scripts went down the hole as one.
