I think a court would strike down a lot of that buyout if it came to that.
And now Vandy is in a position that they're stuck with a coach who wants to be somewhere else...that rarely ends well. That buyout should be negotiated down so that it hurts Penn State a little, but so that he can move on.

Tommy Bowden contract when he left Tulane was equal to what he made, he would say I don't know why Tulane fans would be mad with me I coached there for free.
