I started a diet on November 18th called "eat to Live", also called sometimes the "China Study Diet". Simply put, it's Whole Foods, Plant Based, though is entirely health focused, and overlaps hugely with vegan, except there are no donuts or pasta allowed.

When I started, I weighed 263lbs

Yesterday I weighed in at 229.4lbs

I've cut back drinking to one or two beers a week now and that may be as important as whatever diet a person subscribes to. I chose this one because I wanted something radically different yet sustainable and I'm considering adding about 2oz of meat to my daily intake soon to support my meager attempts to lift weights again.

To anyone and everyone trying to lose weight, start with cutting drinking out, then pick your path!

This list is garbage

If all these nutritionists/doctors all started backing the idea of excluding all grains, processed oils, refined sugars/salts then they'd be out of a job.

Crossfit is still stupid.

No way to tell. Paleo diets haven’t yet drawn the attention of many researchers.

So they're just giving opinions??? Who gives a shite?

Diets work differently for everyone. My body doesn't do well with carbs so I naturally tend to eat more along the lines of a paleo diet. I eat mostly meat and vegetables but im not on any diet.

Amazing that Americans need someone to tell them how to eat healthy. What's happened to common sense?

On another note I tried Stevia for the first time this morning. One packet in my coffee - tasted awful. Who uses that shite?

People who get on these fad diet trends are just doomed to fail. They aren't sustainable long term, so why even try. Are you really willing to go without eating bread the rest of your life?

Give me a break.

My dinners are normally >3000 calories. I calculated it for a couple of days a while back

My breakfast this morning was 1150 calories and my lunch was 1690 calories. Add that to my probable dinner, and that would be 5840 calories minimum today

I wear size 33 jeans also. Mouton is jealous as frick
