Since Addai and Shephard? The area was always LSU friendly, but it seems to have dried up of late. Hoping Nacho changes that, but just got to thinking I haven't noticed anyone in a while.

I have 3 kids in school in Houston.
I have walked into a number of High Schools here in Houston and there is always a big LSU flag in the main hallways. At a middle school that I am often at, there is an LSU day and the LSU fight song is played in between classes while kids are walking to class.
Also, there is always HS kids wearing LSU gear.
It is very rare that I see kids wearing gear from SEC schools other than Texas A&M and LSU.

Skyline HS usually produces some talent. The only one I saw recently was a RB that committed to A&M months ago.

miles' first class had the rj jackson/lafell duo (and kyle anderson from the woodlands)

lsu will always have a presence in the area, ton of alumni(including former players and family) and fans in the area. we've got coaches on staff like brick and henry who have recruited the area and im pretty sure mcgaughey is a houston guy. plenty of talent for lsu, texas, a&m, oklahoma, etc. to land good players.

But,but,but....LSU simply HAS to play huge OOC games in Dallas/Atl and now Houston, otherwise we would never great any great players from those areas ! LOL...NOT
Those games are just a huge money grab and nothing more !
