The only variable is time.

And he will crap on them again in 2 or 3 years when a better job comes open due to him keeping his image clean for a few years.

He should just stay where he is for a few years and then get a real job.

I personally don't think it will happen. Jurich IMO doesn't want to go down that road again.

make him sign an insane buyout clause and do it.
no need for a top 10 coach to be wasting away at wku.

He's got his dad out begging for him again.

quote:Really? I can think of one or two mistakes that were worse
“He said that he’s been everywhere, the NFL and everywhere else, and he said probably the biggest mistake he’d ever made as a coach was leaving Louisville.”

Petrino wants to coach anywhere that will pay him lots of money

Of course he does. It's his only chance in hell to get back in a power conference.
When it happens, he'll leave them again for Auburn finally when Gus comes home thus closing the loop and the rainmaker's chance to win another title at Bama never materializes.

Refresh my memory. He left Louisville to go to the falcons? Is that correct?

This guy is just sad. He doesn't need a job anywhere as any sort of leader.

from the Louisville 247 site:
quote:
Unless something falls off the track InsideTheVille.com expects Bobby Petrino to be named the next football coach at Louisville.
Hearing there will be a sizable buyout clause in Petino's contract at Louisville.
Michigan State DC Pat Narduzzi interviewed this morning and was a finalist for job, as we've previously reported.
Petrino, per sources, interviewed with Tom Jurich today.
I'd expect announcement in the next 24 hours, perhaps as soon as tonight. We're fully expecting the new football coach in attendance at Thursday's basketball game. We're fully expecting Bobby Petrino to be that guy.
Stay tuned.
