dafuq are you retarded??? Reread what you just typed and please tell that turn overs that resulted in points does not play an importance in winning games. You are phucking stupid beyond belief

A pick six is a team effort.
But, you already knew that, didn't you...

Exactly would rather see more Mett style than JJ style.
You got one pro style in the wings Rettig. Two dual threats AJ,, Harris. May the best man win....

In the very near future we may not have much of a choice. With the proliferation of zone read & spread-based offenses at the high school level, "pro-style" QBs just aren't being developed in the high school ranks anymore. Even if we wanted to run a system similar to the 2013 offense, the talent to run that system simply might not be available.
The other issue is a serious lack of defensive front seven talent. We are having trouble finding and developing DTs, DEs and LBs, and we are far from the only program with these issues. As a result, teams are going to have to lean even more heavily on their offenses since they won't have defenses strong enough to protect leads on their own.

AJ isn't dual threat, not sure about Harris.

Hey guys I know you are probably gassed from running routes and blocking but we just threw a pass to the wrong guy can you please run and tackle him now be for he scores
is this what makes it a team effort???

JJ and Lee unfortunately had crappy offensive/QB coaching throughout their career.
Cam showed what a real offensive mind could do.
This is pretty much the perfect summarization of what went wrong with both JJ & Lee. Neither kid had the proper teaching to better & get most out of their abilities.

Since you are so absurdly stupid, yes.
If it weren't, every INT would be a pick six.

Yeah because pro style automatically means white QB & a black QB is always a duel threat, right?
Both Harris & Jennings were labeled duel threats but both are pockets quarterbacks who can move. Even though Rettig is labeled a pro style quarterback, he has good feet & can move around pretty good. Basically all 3 are similar despite what they were they labeled coming out of high school.

Some throws have a higher percentage of being pick 6ed
LSU threw a lot of those during that 08 season. When you're throwing bubble screens and out routes in the flats, there is little protection from those getting ran back. if they're intercepting down the field passes, those are less likely to be run back cause they have to run back past everyone.
But, just why they insisted on running a lot of plays after getting those after getting picked at a high percentage is whats baffling.
those interceptions hurt the most, and it was huge weakness of Lee in 08.
2011 showed glimpses that Lee could be a game manager type QB with just marginally better coaching.

Of course, but some of the "pick sixes" were across the middle and weren't free shots to the end zone. The 16 overall int's were a bigger issue, many of which even when not returned for TD"s led to the opposition scoring.

Tahj Boyd threw for nearly 400 yds last night.

Reorder that into efficiency, its much more even.
The pocket passers tend to have more balanced attacks and are clock grinders. Also tend to have better defenses negating the need to score quick and often.
Type the players you list as pocket passers, i'm betting your list comes up with a good amount of mobile QBs.
Pocket/mobile/dual threat/running, are four different types of QBs.

Another reason for Tennessee fans to hate Lane Kiffin.
Boyd fits into the mobile QB category.

Plz stfu what a stupid thing to argue about your whole argument was that the pick 6's were not as bad the 16 ints that were thrown you are beyond ignorant "yes pick sixes are bad but 16 ints are far worst" by stating this opinion does this makes you some type of Einstein of football you literally sound like fat douche who has never had a friend in life your own mom probably hates you

I prefer a running QB so some sort of option concepts can be part of the O.
I like Mett, but even if you use a pro system it is much better to have someone that can pick up decent yardage on scrambles.

I said 16 INT's were far worse problem in total than the six that were directly returned for TDs. You just aren't bright enough to understand the six returned for TD's were part of the 16 total.
Every INTO stopped a drive, and far more than 6 led to the opposition scoring.
The other part of the argument which you are incapable of grasping is a TD on an interception is a team failure, not just a QB failure.

But, had RP not boneheaded it, he may well have been tremendous for us.
Though extremely limited, he WAS tremendous in every opportunity he did receive.
He had 2 career starts:
MTSU: 20 for 25
Tenn (SEC-CG) 20 for 30
2 starts, 40 for 55.
He was a true dual threat. Just not sure if he was a triple threat... how he would compete in a duel with Aaron Burr.
