Think that was the last time it was a good decision to move a business in that area.

Would be awesome if it could have been Johnny D'Angelo's old place. Chef Robert would not approve of Johnny berating his help.

I won't go back to that place. I ordered one of those gift certificates off of 225besteats, buy a $20 for $10 or something like that. I'll eat anything but my girlfriend at the time was kinda picky, and we decided on one of his pizzas minus the mushrooms. Well, I called him to place the order and told him I didn't want the mushrooms and he told me just to order another pizza. Well, I wasn't in front of my computer anymore so I couldn't look over the menu. I tried to explain that to him and just wanted whatever I originally ordered just without mushrooms. He got mad and angrily said something to the effect of 'well dammit, just tell me what you want on it then, don't mess with my menu". If I hadn't already paid for gift certificate, I would have told him to kiss my arse but I didn't want to waste the $10. Then when I got there, he was in the back making pizzas and wouldn't even look at me but was barking orders at the young guy working the register.
Pizza was good, but not enough to deal with all that.

The opening scene of the episode will show highlights of hurricane Katrina and this little pizzeria fighting through the storm of debt and anchovy

The guy wearing the NY baseball cap (I think his name is Jonathan) makes the best pizza in that place. That being said, the pizza is great. The attitude from the owner is the reason I get to-go only.
I can't bring a date or friend in there, without being embarrassed. The employees stand there and do nothing, Barry can't get more than one pizza out in under 15 minutes, and for some reason can't grasp the concept of customer service.
My forcast:
Robert is going to make him hire a manager with a good personality, and let Barry stick to making pizzas. Kiss the drink station in the middle of the place goodbye. Name change likely, and probably a menu change with no attitude if you want to change or leave off toppings.
Also... I'd be suprised if he's still open by the time the show airs, anyone and everyone I've ever met stops going bc of the owner's BS.

As long as the Sicilian and white pie stay on the menu ill be happy.

I've had Mama Della's probably 10-12 times and the owner's always been nothing but nice. Of course it's always been to-go and I've never asked for any substitutions. Usually get a meatball sandwich or one the specialty pies, always legit. Tried their wings once though and they weren't very good.

I find that place very hit or miss. It is either fantastic or terrible, nothing in between. I hope it improves in consistency.

Too bad it's not Gordon Ramsay's show.
