Actors you've changed your opinion on

I use to dislike Bradley Cooper in basically everything he did (partially because I couldn't get his role in Wedding Crashers out of my head) but he's really won me over as an actor in first Silver Linings and now American Hustle.
Also, Matthew McConaughey has really reinvented himself and has been knocking it out of the park lately. I know he showed glimpses of acting potential early in his career but he had kind of gotten comfortable in these phoned-in RomCom roles until he started making better script choices lately.

Bradley Cooper is my n***a now. dude was legit in both movies listed above and The Place Beyond the Pines (even though Gosling stole the show in that one)

him for sure. he's becoming one of my favorite actors.
Leonardo Dicaprio- Didnt care for Titanic but started getting better roles. I didnt watch some of his other good older movies until well after they came out.

I worked with McConaughey on a movie called Killer Joe a few years ago when I still didn't respect him as an actor outside of Dazed and Confused. He was way less douchy than I thought he'd be, then The Lincoln Lawyer came out while we were shooting or right after, and from then on I thought every role of his was performed brilliantly.

Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum

I wasn't a big Jay Baruchel fan until I saw She's Out of My League.

When the Hangover (the first and the only one that counts) first was out I really liked Bradley Cooper as Phil. I loved the slacker teacher (because I am a slacker teacher) as the closest thing that ensemble had to a "straight man". I mean Stu was nerdy but neurotic, Phil was the one telling them to pull themselves together. Then I realized he was the douche from Wedding Crashers. But his last few roles in SLP, The Place beyond the pines, and American Hustle are just great. He was also the best part of The Words.
I also liked the 2010 A-team movie (because I got it was supposed to be the dopey mockery of the show). He and Liam Neeson were the best parts though they all did well as the core group. That may be the top candidate for Movie that sucked despite having a great group of actors. Neeson, Cooper, Copley, Hamm (just a cameo), Patrick Wilson. Pretty solid ensemble for poorly reviewed movie.

DiCaprio for sure. How that man hasn't won an academy award yet is beyond me, especially after reading about the dinner scene in Django Unchained.

I'm with you on that one, I thought he was the biggest douche in the world after his performance in Wedding Crashers. I guess he was just being a good actor

I never liked Leondardo DiCaprio. Maybe it was the whole Titanic thing. But once I watched Shutter Island my mind changed about him. One of my favorite movies. And then Inception made the mind change of him complete for me. Some people didn't like that one, I loved it. Haven't seen Wolf on Walstreet yet, but I've heard nothing but positives about that one as well.

Collin Farrell. I refused to watch movies he was involved in for a few years after I watched American Outlaws.

Leonardo Dicaprio
This, for sure. I remember a while back I realized that the last three movies I had bought and watched were DiCaprio films (Aviator, Gangs of NY, and Catch Me if You Can), and I was like "Welp, I guess I like him now.."
Colin Farrell is another pretty good choice. He was really good in Saving Mr. Banks.

I remember watching "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" and then discovering that the guy (Dicaprio) who played Gilberts mentally challenged brother wasn't really mentally challeneged. I thought to myself then that Leo was going to be a great actor.

I think Bradley Cooper has proven to be legit now. I have changed on him for sure.
on the flip side. Nick Cage. Lulz. he was incredible in his early work.

I still say that was his best performance. Brilliant.
