Are you kidding? Penn St got backed into a corner and had no choice but to accept these conditions because the NCAA told them the death penalty would occur if they didn't. Penn St was in a PR nightmare and the last thing they needed was the threat of the death penalty and a witchhunt led by the NCAA on top of law endorcement
In a vacuum, PSU would never have accepted those because they are bullahit and they know it. NCAA had no business getting involved. I will say though that going through the public thrashing by the NCAA is likely making them look like a more "clean" program and probably helped the. Though considering things are being repealed

Ok, time to bring this thread back to the coaching search for Penn State.
