Obviously, I want to get both Hootie and Adams, but from what I have read, it seems as though Hampton's decision will impact how these dominos will fall. Hampton to Bama or Ole Miss, which is best for us? Hootie is back in play, but Ole Miss thinks they are in the picture now because of his relationship with Hampton. If Hampton flips to Bama, does Hootie stay?

It has been widely speculated that Hampton would be decommitting from Ole Miss and was a Bama lean. Strikes me as kind of odd, if they are a package deal, why would Hootie decommit from Bama right after Hampton to Bama looked like it was going down. I think people are reading too much into their friendship.

I think we want Hampton to stay at Ole Miss.

I doubt Hootie goes back to Bama, and Ole Miss is trying to make a push for him as insurance in case Hampton bolts.

Plus frick bama

You'd have to think Hootie is solidly LSU at this point. There's some chatter about Ole Miss coming up in the 11th hour but it just seems like too much of a stretch to say that'll happen.

Hootie to LSU (or really not to Bama) makes Hampton to Bama more of a possibility, but I don't think it happens. I think he's still solidly Ole Miss.

And Jamal I'm pretty sure is also LSU. Jamal's a free safety, Hootie's a strong safety, they're not competing with one another for PT.

EDIT: Huh, lotta people saying Hampton to Bama is going down. I still think he's OM

It's really tough to say, other than I don't think OM is a real risk to land Hootie. Everything else just depends on who you ask.

Hampton may be recruiting Hootie for Ole Miss. Bama recruiting wheels are not coming off, however things are getting wobbly with some speculation that their prize RB, Scarborough (among others), is wavering. Having said all that, it's all fluid and lots of distrust in recruiting and you never know until the the LOI is signed and received. So it will be interesting to see what happens with Hootie.

He just decommitted from OM yesterday when he's announcing his college choice tomorrow. He's not going to Ole Miss.

I don't buy the Hootie to ole miss talk for one second. When he decomitted from bama he had one school in mind: LSU. I just don't think he would've dropped bama without being fairly sure he could join our class.

I think Hootie ends up in Baton Rouge as well as Adams. I just hope Adams isn't deterred by Hootie joining the class, which I don't think he will be.

Literally, 100% of the 24/7 crystal ball picks put Hampton to Bama. Leave it to Ole Miss to try and buck that trend
