I heard it will be a long process also with no need to rush due to dead period.
I can only assume they need to wait for bowl games, nfl games, etc to finish before they can announce.
I'm also assuming there was not a plan b beyond Saban so they are starting the search from zero.
The only problem I have with the committee they put together is it does not include any football people. They could have included some former players or something. What are they going to do bring a football coach in front of a big committee and not talk football. This doesn't make much sense and Patterson has never been a football guy himself only basketball.
