I've owned a wild game innovations camera for a year and it's starting to go retard...

So I need some advice from the OB experts of what's the best camera. This will be a gift for my father for Christmas. So what would y'all recommend. TIA

I bought a Wildgame innovations as well and its a pice of crap. I never even put it out anymore.

I have 3 Moultries, all take good pictures and have good battery life. D55-IR is the model of 2 of them, cant remember the third. I have had them for 3 years now and no issues.

Primos or Moultrie

Personally, I prefer Primos. I've had about 7 of their cameras and they've all been solid. The only other brand that I've owned is Cuddeback. I will never again own a Cuddeback

My grandpa and uncle use Wild Game Innovations. They're happy with them but it doesn't take much to impress them. I find the quality of the photos and the durabality of the Primos cameras to be a really good bang for your buck

ETA: I've never owned a Moultrie camera, but I've read good things about them and I hope to give one a try soon

I have a Wildgame and it runs through batteries like no other. My next will be a Moultrie.

Wildgame innovations have worked great for us, and we use them a lot.

I came in here to bash Wildgame and I see it's already been done. My personal experience with Wildgame cameras has not been good. Moultrie doesn't take the prettiest pictures but the ones I have owned work well and are good on battery life.

Moultrie is the best IMHO unless you are looking at spending big money on them

i bought 2 WGI a few years ago. had to send both back. had to send back one of the replacements they sent me. i now have two cameras, one wont take a pic if you do jumping jacks in front of it, the other takes all black pics at night.

i had a cuddeback that was solid for 8 years and just this year i cant get it to record a picture, it acts like it takes it but doesnt put anything on the card. i paid more fot the cuddeback, but it well outlasted the cheaper wildgame cameras.

bought a moultrie m880i i think, it has been good so far. setup is different and maybe slighlty more difficult than cudde and wildgame.

I have bought a few Primos Truth Cams. They have worked for a few years now with no problems.
