Only someone from Louisana would say New Orleans is a better location than Tampa. Wow.
25,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of the Superdome, for starters. But Midwesterners are obsessed with Central Florida for some reason.

For a bowl game, it is... There is a reason New Orleans has hosted more Super Bowls than anybody except Miami, and that is a tie at 10.

Of course LSU will not sell their allotment of the worse seats in the house - end zone and upper deck. LSU only got 1500 from their allotment that are sideline tickets. If your the average fan left out of the TAF donor seating than your better off not buying from LSU. You will get far better seats on the open market. LSU ticket office doesn't like it but that's the way it works now outside of BCS games or high demand games. Not too worry, Alleva got his increase so they can use that to pay off the ones they can't sell through our donations.
Also, what good does it do for removing TAF fees on some tickets and increasing them on other tickets. My baseball TAF fee goes up but one section over they pay nothing, so in essence I get to pay their TAF fee too.

Looks like people already took up the chorus, but New Orleans/Superdome is the best host for these type of events in the whole country.
There was a 30+ minute power outage at the Super Bowl last year, and there were still articles from across the country saying just quit rotating the Super Bowl and have it in New Orleans ever year.
The list of things New Orleans and LA does better than anyone else may be short, but that's on it.

NOLA way better than Tampa. No doubt there's more to do in the big easy

Lol if you say so . I have been to both and tampa has a lot to do . Not to mention St. Pete and Orlando are real close .

I agree, Tampa is nice, just not as much of a walking city compared to NOLA.

Oh I agree . There's not much walking here at all .

Like stated earlier, tix will be <$20 the day of the game. I have not paid more than $20 for a single ticket this season. Patience is a virtue.
