NFL Head Coaches work far more than most college coaches, and its extremely well documented and basically a fact. They work obscene hours. They basically work 15 hour days 7 days a week from Late July until their team is eliminated.
Just ask Steve Spurrier.

yeah he pretty much had that backwards - there is no offseason in the NFL for HCs.
college is a series of one year scholarships so you have total roster control - not so in the NFL
CFB head coaches dont have to do too much in May and June - Pro coaches have OTAs in May and June
