Sorry, might have worded it wrong. I don't really understand why the UT admin would be interested (if they are) in Tomlin over many, many other candidates.

As a fan, I'll be disappointed if it's not one of:

Harbaugh
Malzahn
Meyer
Strong
Maybe Franklin
Briles

At this point, I'm still undecided on guys like Strong/Franklin. While some of the others are reaches, we should be aiming very high with this hire.

boy you guys have your hopes up pretty high if you think a Superbowl winning coach is beneath you

Yeah Tomlin is a great NFL coach but having no college experience should be a huge strike against him. It can't be easy to learn how to recruit as the head man on the fly
