Depends on what you mean by better. Better than NVidia for mining? Yes, simply because of the number of stream processors and the type of algorithms used. And they produce the best hashrates of the single GPU options out there. Definitely overpriced for gaming now, and probably not a good buy for mining unless you really really believe in those altcoins long-term (by long term, I mean like 2-3 months
). Or I suppose you can convert them all to BTC and hold for a long time if you're into that. I'm just converting my BTC to real money as I go.This post was edited on 12/17/13 at 9:16 pm
