The question should be, why wouldn't he go to Texas? The state of Alabama is basically a shithole, and the only reason a guy like Saban would be there is because of football. But if he could have a similar football program, for more money, and in a much nicer place to live, why wouldn't he take it?

Sean Payton feels the same way about New Orleans. He didn't just move his family to Dallas on a whim.
