Let's hope that medical marijuana isn't prescribed as a pain reliever.

This won't be the first time Mathieu will be watching his team play from afar.

He missed the 2012 season at LSU after being dismissed that August for failing drug tests. He watched from home and in the stands at Tiger Stadium, so he knows what to expect.

this shite is so old. how much longer will the media bring this up? the kid paid his dues. he sat out an entire season. from the looks of it, he's gotten his life in order and has moved on. why must they continue bringing this up?

With the way his contract was structured will this injury affect his pay?

His contract has nothing to do with his injury. NFLPA supersedes here. He gets paid for this year and as long as he rehabs. If he cannot make team next year, Cardinals have to pony up a wad in settlement for injury. Cards have insurance for this.

I know he will come back. He has seen the real big time and his teammates will pull him through this. What PP7 has done for this young man is amazing and makes me proud to be a Tiger.
