A friend of mines dad works with Devin's dad and he met Devin when he came to one of the LSU games this year. Said he was a very well spoken kid who is built like a rock. I've got a really good feeling about this kid. Could be another LaRon Landry.

Its from tigerbait pay-site.... so not sure if its a paid article or a free article.

But yea the thing about Devon too is that hes 200lbs, but almost looks skinny. He can bulk up pretty easy.

And i too think he will be a great safety and is the top forgotten stud in this class. Kid is an amazing athlete. Better athlete than most people realize.

I'm calling it now. When all is said and done he will be a top five contributor in this class. He's one of those guys that is just blessed. He just fits the part.

For those that don't know, Natchez and parts South is LSU country. He has family members that work in Corrections at Angola and he has a brother that resides in Watson. They have always been 100% LSU. And he sacrificed ALL the hoopla with an early commit. This is the kind of kid we should all be behind.

I like that he's a multisport guy. He's the best player on his basketball team too. I know he's not playing bball here, but I like that we're brining in well rounded athletes.

Yea same here ProjectP... shows hes versatile and naturally gifted. And, hes the undisputed leader for both bball and football team. Kid is a natural leader. And not afraid to step up in the big moment.

Yep... completely agree. Every now and then a player comes along that just gets it. I think Voorhies is that type of player. Will do his job and wont over reach or try and do too much, but has the ability to dominate or take over a game. And is a guy that everyone looks up to. Wont be in any trouble, well spoken, and will put in the work to earn everyones respect.

Kids going to be a player!

This kid has felt like a quiet steal for some time now. Glad his hard work has paid off.

Everything that I have read says he's humble, hard-working, real/no bs., listens well, is coachable, adult-like...and most importantly,he is a tough, pure football player.

I've been reading about the Miss-Bama all-star game and Voorhies is mentioned very rarely. I'm sure he's a good one, but not standing out. Maybe he has a slight injury?

I have been reading about it too and his name is mentioned as one of the standouts. Where are you reading about the game?

Watching him on tv now in AL/MS all star game. Big safety who made INT on long pass but his feet were out of bounds. Returned punt on next play as well.
