Mine is an IMI Defense OWB holster. Not aware of any other holsters that work for the M2

Hey guys, sorry for the delay on responding to everything in this thread. I didn't know there were new replies.
I actually plan on taking a Tactical Response class in February at James Yeager's place. I feel that will give me more information to go by when I run it in real drills. So, my review of it will be after that class.
I'd love to do one but do not own a PPK to test.
What do you mean by "run down"?
Thanks for the kind words and I appreciate you letting me borrow it.
That's what I was going for.
The one gripe I have about Nutnfancy is that he rants through his talking points. I like listing the talking points but also listing the finer details in the actual outline.
As long as no one sees me at the range with my hands on a Glock, maybe I'll do it.
Thanks! I would have no problem trying out some more loaner guns. I handload 9mm, 40, and 45 and go shoot all the time so I can feed any of those standard calibers.
That was one thing I forgot to mention in the review. Hammer let me borrow a holster that I forgot to show. I did at least mention that holsters were hard to find though.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback.

hey Bapple, you have a review of the BM ACR or just that one POV video?

Also, Walther PPK review?

Just thought you did a very thorough job with your review, figured I'd ask here before browing the ol' UTube

can i send you my wife for the weekend and you can do a parody review of her with an outline and give a run down of her.

It would he cool for an OB'er to get YouTube famous for gun reviews. I had no problem letting bapple use my gun, and it would be perfect if other people offered up some test subjects for him.
Thanks for the kind words and I appreciate you letting me borrow it.

His reviews are similar to nutnfancy with the outlines, which keeps him on track and helps with structuring the reviews.

I am thinking about offering up the Glock my step-dad bought so he can do sort of a mid-sized polymer review

I know I raised this from the dead but I think that is a great idea! I like the Nutnfancy and Hikok45 videos and would like to see somebody from here do something similar.

I would add one thing to review videos of guns. Try to find at least one holster that works for the gun and show it on the review if the loaner has one

Bapple, if you ever want to do some videos using some firearms from my collection, I am open to the idea. You are in the BR area right?

Yessir.
I know you probably lost most of your collection in a boating accident but what do you have on hand that you would be interested in having reviewed?

quote:I went and shot it Saturday at Shooters Club down here. I was only able to shoot a box of 50 and had to take a break. Just as I expected, the bumps on the grip were way too rough. I have calused hands, and still had to take a break.

My damn GF wants my PPQ after that little outing. We both shot better with it than any of the other guns. I put 9/10 on a 12" target at 60ft, and came back with 8/10 after that. She even commented on how the trigger felt different and was easier to tell when it broke.
People bitch about those spring-loaded serpa-type holsters(all based off one internet video), but as long as you practice good technique, you will be good. My finger either ends up across the finger guard or on the top of the frame/bottom of the slide.

I shot a compact 40 a while back and had the same impression. It really beats the hell out of your palms.

I told you! It's quite easy to shoot and is slim enough in the grip for a female to easily use it.

That's the main reason people don't like the index button. They don't like putting pressure on that finger as the gun is unholstered.
A lot of police departments use Safariland holsters with thumb releases on the holsters.

The holsters just aren't a problem for me. My finger seems to come out in the correct spot every time. I guess it is a long finger/short finger deal
I am even fine with the G20 that I used to carry, and it is a full-size pistol

Different strokes for different folks. And the more you use it the more you get used to it.
