maybe it is legal in Louisiana due to the competition within the state. Personally, if it was made illegal, I think a lot of the fairweather hunters would quit, and maybe the ones that learned to hunt actual deer would respect the process more. The thing I have more of a problem with than baiting, is everyone being so close minded that they take young deer. then you get to hear the bullshite about genetics and how they cant grow big deer. Big deer grow all the way down in the swamp, people down there just don't let many get old enough to get big.

In the last club I hunted, I was about the only one that did not corn. I got more shots per hunt than anyone in the club.

U really have no idea how to properly use apostrophes do you?

I'll trade you reading and writing lessons for a hunt

Bait makes heavily pressured deer extremely skittish...I learned that the hard way. Also, natural food source>>>>>>corn/bran/designer deer feed

Personally, I don't deer hunt over bait. On occasion I will allow a woman or a child to shoot one near a feeder or food plot, but we use our feeding only for nutritional purposes and not harvesting.

I would hunt the shite out of a unharvested field though.

Absolutely. Im fine with hunters around me baiting. I will just go hunt the edges of thickets and trails leading to the corn they eat predominantly at night. I love when people say, "Im just not getting any pictures during the day".. Imagine That!!

if you have such a big problem with all this, put down the shotgun and pick up the crossbow or rifle for some real hunting

I killed a bag full in a place I wasn't allowed to hunt this weekend, but I will be back in them the rest of the year.

The place I went this weekend, there were plenty, but we were on time constraints and there were too many other species to let them go. Plus it stayed overcast all weekend and the mallards were skiddish
