Or Mullin. Auburn only 120 yds. rushing against State, the week before they played us.

The reality is that Auburn didn't have the timing and cohesion together at that time of year near to the extent they do now.

I'd love to give LSU's defense credit for that but the body of work other than A&M tells me there were other factors.

Auburn struggled with Wazzu, Miss St and Texas AM. We waxed them up and down the field for 3 quarters before we stopped caring and they made a little noise, but we still won convincingly.

They should have lost to Georgia, point blank they shite the bed and got an incredible lucky play. Hell Georgia even almost came back down the field and won it. Saban went full retatd against Auburn, to levels of 2011 9-6 loss to LSU. But we do know how mightily Saban struggles with that read option nonsense.

Missouri was built to stop passing attacks. They made some bad play calls on defense and offense. It was still close.

Congrats to Aubie but in my opinion Florida St rolls, 45-24.

Does Jimbo contact Les about Auburn? I think Jimbo has enough class not to put Les in that position. Besides, he has all of Auburn's game film and a DC on his staff.

Jimbo and class are not even in the same trailer park. The dude used to wear mock turtle neck shirts with a sport coat and did all he could to make those four hairs left cover all his dome.

Well the problem with all this guess-timation is that you don't know which LSU defense shows up. If the same defense that played against JFF shows up then LSU beats Auburn again. Cause Auburn sure as hell cannot stop the LSU offense on full throttle.

Auburn wasn't 1/10 the team early in the year as they are now. They beat Miss St on a TD pass with 10 seconds left, barely beat Washington St...

...and at the end of the year needed a fluke Hail Mary to beat a weakened Georgia team. They're definitely improved, but they're not that much better. Another poster got it right, we're a bad matchup for Auburn.

Auburn struggled with over half the teams they've played. They were lucky Nick decided to go full retard, needed a bomb to beat MSU, close game against Washington St, needed a fluke pass to beat UGA, Manziel going out for a series gave them just enough to win. Auburn's winning is the sign of a football God. The SEC is the weakest it has been in years.

Auburn has certainly had some lucky breaks, but it seems weird to see LSU fans diminish a team getting lucky or eeking out really close wins given that LSU has probably the luckiest NCG appearance ever and we certainly struggle with lesser teams on a regular basis.

Does anyone really thing that LSU isn't a markedly better team than Arkansas, despite that game coming down to the wire?

Auburn is a better team now than they were at the beginning of the year. They aren't a perfect team, by any measure, but they've got a very good coach and a dynamic offense. They also have the benefit of having been seasoned by some tough games against good teams, versus sleepwalking through a really mediocre ACC schedule.

Looking forward to the NCG, should be a fun one.
