why would the Rockets let it be known publicly that they are dealing him? That just seems like a poor strategy.

I doubt the Rockets let it be known. What probably happened is a GM interested in Asik for cheap told Stein that the pieces Houston is asking about are pieces they'd probably try and flip again and then let Stein put 2 and 2 together.

It was pretty common knowledge after he threw a temper tantrum a couple weeks ago.

I don't see why Portland would do that. Batum >> Parsons. LMA >>>>>>>>>> Ryan.

Idk if you guys remember but we were a BAtum throw in away from CP3. Batum does a lot of things well. He can pass, shoot, defend. Only knock I have on Bat um is the he's a little too passive. Sometimes it looks like he's not even going to make an attempt to score even if he has a clear lane.

I'm not going to bother with the other half.

We lose an inside presence on offense, which would be huge for the offense Stotts is running. It would make our 2nd biggest weakness an even bigger one. Without Aldridge, we'd need a slasher. We have none.
