Just because they could start doesnt mean they're any good. Kind of jumping the gun on guys who either havent played or barely played...dontya think?

I know I am. But the potential is crazy and I'm excited for it. Feel bad for the rest of college football when our defense gets back on track and we fix O Line issues.

3 QBs with a total of like 10 pass attempts combined 2 of which may transfer and a high school senior. What am I missing here?

Good list KG5989

-AJ is the current hero and all, but I fully expect Harris to make a serious push for QB playing time.

-WR is well stocked to say the least. Don't see Quinn and Dupre missing many snaps from the get go. Noil will prolly be all over the field. Being a 'starter' out of this group is kind of misleading.

-MLB We have to do better than Welter here. Any number of guys could take his spot.

-Paris is a pure safety, backup CB?

-White, RR, and Brown are all quasi starters imo

Uhhhh Welter is most likely declaring after the bowl game since he's projected to go late 2nd-early 3rd round

Fair enough..should have been more specific...skill players.

-but Collins,Freak, and Davenport were lineman...not unusual to even redshirt 5-star guys here...much less start right away.

-Randle and Landry simply had to wait their turn, with NFL guys in front of them on the depth chart.

-Ware also got caught up in a position LSU was incredibly deep in at the time.

-You lost some credibility with even listing Shepard. All talk and his cousin Loston wasn't much better imo.

This freshman class is loaded with skill players and the position guys will all fill areas of serious need.

Guess we'll have to revisit this at a later date.

What? You said list the 5-star players who didnt start right away. Loston and Shepard were among those.

The only person who lost any credibility was when you made the ridiculous comment acting as if most 5-stars start right away here...they very by and large do not. It's not even remotely close even.

You throw out your 2014 starter chart littered with uncommitted freshman all over the place, ask us to "enlighten" you on which past 5 stars didn't start right away, then say we lost credibility for listing Shepard who was arguably the best and most explosive skill guy in the country for his class. You are seriously slow.

nah man, my cousin is slow. Autistic better fits him, but maybe not because those kids are pretty smart. So i guess that means he is an idiot.

Shep and Loston were both flops. shite happens...Not all 5-stars work out.

Most, if not all, of our incoming 5-star recruits are coming in at positions of immediate need, thus why I think most, if not all, will start or see considerable playing time.

You're a flop. Shepard and Loston did a lot more for LSU then you ever will. I'm going to sleep, you should ban yourself.

Feel free to list Shep's career stats at LSU.

You seem unable to grasp the simple fact he was a flop.

So LF, adams, paris and cg are really the only need. Plus i don't like fresh starting but LF can start!

Most of our starters and former stars were not 5*'s. So your argument is dumb

worst list ever. Plus you dont know who is staying and who isnt.

My guess.

Jennings
RB by committte with whoever is left
FB-melvin jones
TE- No srs so a rotation of gordon, dickson, stokes, smith and maybe wahsington
OL- well i think it will be collins, alexander, porter, turner, hawkins
wr- assuming both leave, dural then evryone else. Diarse, peterson, dupre, noil, quinn, leslie(these arent in any order, just think dural willbe #1 start of spring if the other 2 dont come back. all other spots up for grabs)

DT- ego and freak
de- rasco, hunter, allen
LB- kwon, garret and whoever else decides to step up
CB- RR, White
S- Jefferson, Thompson

Since the NFL is a qb driven league, qbs and olinemen are who i think stand the best chance of improving their draft. They really are the only ones that can go from a 3rd or 4th rnd pick to a top 5 pick. thats where the diff in money is. Not between the 3rd and undrafted.
