But if you look at the bowl schedule Bama plays on Jan 2nd (I think) the dead period is until the Jan 16th so who knows maybe they just drag it out until bama is done in the sugar. Gives nick tremondus exposure and also causes a major side circus distraction for the BCS national championship game and lets Saban have all the attention there aswell!
