Maybe the rain in the first quarter slowed Marshal down allowing our defense to get three and outs. Also on offense Cam was committed to the run and our OL played really well in that game.
When the rain stopped in the second half Auburn made a really strong push.
Plus Marshal has gained A LOT of experience since our game with him. He is a much improved QB since then. Remember, he was a DB before playing QB.
