NOLA light lunch spots

Any suggestions on places to eat and drink during the day in quarter area? Specifically looking for light lunch/appetizers/tapas type place. Oysters would be a good place to start. Muffulettas/poboys etc. Casual drinking and eating spot. Staying near shops at canal. Not opposed to traveling, but walking would be ideal. Planning on eating an early dinner (530-6pm) so just want a place to hang for a little.
I know it's probably hard to miss, but any specific suggestions are welcome. Not opposed to hopping around either.
Also any home cooking/new orleans style dinner spot suggestions are welcome. Mid range prices, seafood or soul food type places. Wouldn't mind staying in the same area.
I know I'm all over the place, but I'm open to anything.
Thoughts? Thanks

muffalettas aren't light, but if you are in the quarter go to Central Grocery for one.
My pick though for all you described would be Verti Mart, which has my favorite Poboy/ "all that Jazz"
It's across the corner from the most 'haunted' house in the city. The LaLaurie mansion. So you can look for ghosts while munching.

Oysters are 50 cents each every day at Luke from 3-6. You also have Drago's near there...but don't get anything there other than the char grilled oysters.

Napoleon house has a kick arse grilled chicken sandwich.
It is a cozy little place that is one of the older buildings in the city. Check out various photos online, if you have never been it is a pretty cool spot to have lunch in their small private courtyard

My wife and I like to sit on the balcony at Royal House and have a dozen raw. Good place to eat oysters and have a couple beers. I wouldn't eat a full meal there though.

Go to Peche. Sit at raw bar. Eat oysters and maybe a few small plates.

Not in quarter but sure would hit the spot.
What about Sobou for some small plates?

Ehhh said Quarter area and from the Shops at Canal Place, maybe a 10 minute walk. 13 with a drink in your hand.
