People need to chill a little on the odds of signing Adams. Without inside info, but only considering the general circumstances, this feels like a major reach at the eleventh hour. Sometimes works. More often does not. Almost seems like a desperate effort.

The guy's recruitment has been an absolute rollercoaster, and getting on to it now will be worth it whether we get him or not. He's close friends with Tony Brown (LSU lean) and Ed Paris (LSU Commit) so that alone makes it worth it.

For extra fun, take a look at his 247 page. I recommend scrolling through the crystal ball projections chronologically

Echoing baytiger here. This isn't quite an 11th hour recruitment. He's always been on LSU's radar, and LSU on his. And yes, it does have the appearance of some desperation. But LSU has been in contact with him for quite awhile.

Personally I think LSU mis-evaluated (underestimated) him a while back. His play this year corrected that for them! What he's done lately is undeniable. Seems his HS coach(s) really put forth a concerted effort to get him ready for big-boy football and have done a good job of it.
