I wonder if he realizes that Ole Miss has not won an SEC championship since integration...which they were forced to do by the national guard BTW. Ole miss has no modern tradition, except for beating LSU about once every 5 years.

Sometimes when you're a big recruit; you've got to add a little suspension to the process .. That way it's a big deal

So sad what has happened to the mystic that was Death Valley.

No way he starts over Welter. Welter isn't going anywhere. Garrett will start as a Sophomore and get some mop up duty next year.

Way he will start over Welter. LSU needs an athletic, punishing MLB. Welter isn't it. Garrett starts in game 1 at MLB. Book it!

You think CG is going to come in and be more adept on the scheme/audibles than Welter and LL.

Not claiming to be an insider or anything, but after speaking with CG at the game Saturday I'm 98% sure he'll be a Tiger.

I am not saying he will start immediately but I wouldn't be surprised if Chief took CG under his wing and made sure he learned the system as fast as possible. I don't think Chief has had this must interest in a LB for a long time. Welter was starting this year no matter what because they never saw Beckwith as a MLB so there really wasn't anyone else worth putting that extra time in with. Just my opinion.

If Robinson can get dicked over by the NCAA Clearinghouse, come in to learn a Chavis defense in Aug, playing time by Sept, starting by the end of Sept, and then take care of uber-push-off guy for the Aggies and help LSU hold TAMU under 40 (and 30, and 20) pts for the first time then CG can start day 1 as an EE!!!

Oh, and TAMU Plan B was quashed by Tre' White.

Have you listened to Garrett talk in interviews? The guy is intelligent in addition to being talent. Perhaps you forgot when Zach Lee showed up at LSU and Crowton gave him his encyclopedia of offensive plays/schemes, and Crowton "was amazed" at how quickly Lee picked up the majority of it. That was about a week I believe. Plus, show me in the NCAA rule book where a MLB HAS to make the audible calls. That is what happens most of the time but is not one of the 10 Commandments. Welter simply isn't MLB material. Did you not watch the games this season?

Me and CG3 had this discussion outside the bar in Oxford... He knows.
