I'll give Paulie Walnuts a chance as the new dog "Vinnie".
However, I get a feeling that there will be a revolving door of dogs every week or few weeks.

Really doubt this will last.

I don't think Brian will be gone for long. The the plot for an upcoming episode this season has Brian falling in love with a Jogger and his name is in the title of a few episodes later this season...

No way they keep brian off the show. It's basically McFarlane playing himself isn't it? That's what I always thought.

Never liked Brian's pretentious arse.

Good...most annoying character. I don't need Seth macfarlanes political agenda shoved down my throat via a talking dog on a cartoon

Seth McFarlane doesn't want to do the show anymore. He thinks it should have gone off the air a long time ago, but people still tune in every week.

Guess I'd be tired of doing it too, especially if I had two other shows just like it.

So Brian is listed in the plot descriptions of future episodes (to air this season), so it's going to turn out to be a dream or something.

I wonder if Brian believes in Jesus now?

Yep, I'm really surprised people are taking this so seriously. I'm sure we'll get some multiple episode arc without him where the family starts to really hate the new dog, and then some crazy family guyness ensures that will return Brian.

Brian was the only reason I ever watched Family Guy.

I wish someone would kill off Seth Macfarlane

Why in the hell would they kill of Brian?
This show needs to go away.

Did Brian ever get to nail Lois? I haven't watched in years.
