Who gets a better bowl: A&M or LSU?

Bowl selection is all about the money. that IS their purpose. they can invite anyone they want to. yes, since the bowls that are tied in with the SEC value that relationship there is probably some give and take in the decision. TV also plays a role.
having said that, what is "a better bowl"? sure, you like one bowl over another but that is not universal. a few years back when LSU played Penn state in the Capitol One bowl lots of folks were bitching when it was the bowl that paid the most and was in Orlando, Florida. The cotton bowl was clearly a decrepit old bowl that had lost most of it's luster and the Peach bowl was being considered as the next major bowl.
the cotton bowl has recovered but dallas is still cold and dreary in January and, imo, dallas is a boring city to visit. I would love to see LSU go to the Hall of Fame bowl in Tampa; it's a great city to visit and the winter weather is primo. but, that is only my opinion.

Any where but that god forsaken place! The Crap One Bowl is an abomination. Shitiest stadium in the bowl rotation.

Didn't say I wanted to go there. Just where I think LSU will end up. Though I wouldn't mind going to the Cotton and play Baylor.

do you really go to a bowl game because of the stadium? the field has been repaired and i understand there has been some improvements made to the stadium but to me the decision on whether to go to a bowl game rests on the match up and the city (or area) in which it's held. i don't give a shite about nice shiny stadiums and perceived prestige of the bowl (other than BCS). also, i like playing big 10 schools.
