So yesteday was my first game at the Superdome. I have been to quite a few LSU games including Florida and TX A&M. Nothing touched the loudness of the game last night. I couldn't hear anything. It was so awesome. Did that touch the loudest its been in the Superdome? Might be a dumb question but just wondering.

It was pretty nuts in the 4th quarter. When they wouldn't throw the flag for intentional grounding on Kaep, people were going nuts. There was a 2 minute TV timeout and we didn't stop the entire time.

Definitely one of the better crowds I've been a part of.

Wasn't there but I'm gonna go with no. But yeah it gets louder than Tiger Stadium.

Considering the opponent and how that game in 2011 and 2012 went, I'd have been screaming my arse off too.

Not THE loudest, but certainly towards the top, the dome was rocking yesterday. It got really loud towards the end of the game, and kap was rattled by the noise all game.

I'm pretty sure my ears are still ringing. The end of the game was ridiculous how loud it was. Pretty cool seeing the decimal reader go above 117 and above 115 quite a bit.
Crowd was for sure an impact

Makes me remember the old NFL rule from the late 80s where they would penalize us for being too loud in the dome. I can remember games getting delayed for 5 to 10 minutes while they tried to quiet us down.

When Kaepernick went to call a timeout and then realized he didn't have any, I legit

"Hut! Hut! ...timeout! timeout! Wait...crap."

No. While it won't be that loud for a Bills or Dolphins game, that's about the average loudness for a dramatic, big game in the Superdome. There have been many louder games, especially back when the Saints weren't so clearly a great team.

The Philly playoff game might have been the loudest over the entirety of a whole game. And, nothing touches the Gleason punt block. I couldn't hear myself scream it was so loud.

The Superdome is louder than Tiger Stadium, no doubt.

That was the loudest since the playoff games in 2009 for sure. My hand is bruised from banging on this metal wall we had in 620.

I love my section, all the way at the last row of the dome.

On the 49ers last drive, I've never been at a stadium where it was that loud for that long. It was incredible

They posted decibel on the Dome TV's. I saw it hit 115 in during the timeout.

115 Decibels defined "Deafening - thunder, diesel engine room, fireworks display...Superdome" #WhoDatNation

ETA: I see that I undersold it. 122.3

I was there and it was loud! Not sure if the decibel reader was accurate, but I saw 113. For perspective, a jet engine is 120.
