Worked his way up the depth chart and is starting today.

So, do the 'tards give any credit to LSU for developing Bennie from a 245lb. nobody...mostly unheard of by most recruiters....into a starting NFL DT...and the staff did the same good job on his side-kick!

They got a player named Anthony Johnson who already had nfl size and speed as a freshman. All you heard was Dorsey 2.0 but better. Lot of development there..

That will be Freak and Ego next year tearing it up in the NFL.

They haven't done anything this year?..

I wouldn't take either one...sorry if the truth hurts...it hurts me to say it even more...talking is a lot easier than doing...

I'll eat crow. I never thought he should've left.
Congrats Bennie. That's pretty damn impressive.

he's supposedly been starting, at least that's what I saw two weeks ago.

They developed Brockers and Logan into rookie starters. This is all on Freak as to why he hasn't gotten better.

This is only Johnson's first year as a full-time starter. IMO, if he were to return, he would have a really good season.
Logan final season 55 tackles 15 solo 5.5 tfl 2 sacks;
Johnson this season 29 tackles 12 solo 6.5 tfl 3 sacks

He has the stats for third round talent and the potential of a first rounder which would put him somewhere in the second. If he came back next year healthy, He could be a top 5, top 10 pick.

Ive seen him play a lot and used in the rotation, but this is the 1st game i saw him be an actual starter.
He and Fletcher Cox could be the best young DT duo in the NFL. Cox is really really good too. And Logan is better as the 2nd DT/complementary role due to his quickness off the line. Really like those 2 players.
