I don't follow why you call it "adversity". If you mean big game experience, then yes. But one could make the counter-argument that after winning the last two, they might not be as hungry. Plus - after losing to A&M last year, at home, and barely escaping LSU and UGA, then being rewarded by playing a Notre Dame cupcake (a dozen teams would have beaten ND last year) -- I'm just not as convinced as everyone else that Alabama is the greatest team of the Century, and no one is even worthy of sniffing their jock. They are definitely a great team, and deserving of #1 ranking - I'm not disputing that. But to dismiss FSU as unworthy of stepping on the field with them is a very misguided point of view.

This will be an impressive win.

ETA: McCarron's Heisman moment is coming in the 4th. Let's see if he can lead them to over 20% on 3rd down conversions this game.

I'm in that range and I remember the 93 team

I'm not disputing that FSU is a great team. Alabama has beaten their opponents in the BCSNCG by an average of 22 points. Give Saban a month to prepare and this Bama team is unbeatable.

You were 6 years old in 1993, and you "remember" that season? I see your bullshite and raise you a bullshite.

Fair enough. At least you're a reasonable one going off of belief in your Coach from past experiences. You have faith in your guys and FSU fans have faith in ours.

I feel no need to prove FSU's worth to message board posters

I love the fact that we're looked at as unworthy. Honestly, at this point it would be a little buzzkill if Bama didn't make it to Pasadena.

I laugh at the people who actually believe they are unbeatable simply because Saban has so much time to prepare. Weren't they preparing for A&M all offseason? And Johnny torched them. inb4 "well we still won!"

They crushed LSU in the championship game, in a bit of a unique situation. But sure, that's one good example. Notre Dame? Michigan State? They're crushing those teams whether they have a year or a day to prepare.

that dude doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the Heisman. Coming into tonight he was 42nd in the nation in passing yards and 21st in passing TD's. That's some Heisman stats if I've ever seen any

That's how it should be. Alabama-FSU would be a great matchup, and a great way to say goodbye to the BCS.

No, I'm not going to ban bet. FSU will cream Alabama, assuming Alabama beats Auburn.

It's no secret that Bama comes out sluggish after playing LSU.

They still win this game 31 or 38 to 0.

Talk to somebody else, never said Alabama is the best team ever. I just have Bama +21 against FSU, if that poster was strong enough to back up his BS.
