You don't see Florida fans sprewing hatred at Carolina since he coaches there. If any fan base would have a reason to hate a past successful coach, it would be Florida.

How many SEC or national championships has South Carolina won that could've been Florida's if not for Spurrier being on the other sideline?

You totally missed my point. Florida won NC's under Spurrier. Spurrier is winning at Carolina. Florida has been in shambles since he left. NC's have nothing to do with it. Saban can draw the talent no matter where he is. In fact, Saban at Florida would be a nightmare for the SEC. The guy can recruit and win. I hope that Saban stays at Bama. If he stays, the rest of the SEC west will have to upgrade their facilities. Have you seen BDS or the campus at Bama? Their stadium and campus puts LSU to shame. Bama also has a record breaking class of freshmen that want to attend the university. Bama is the only school that this state cares about. Auburn reminds me of Tulane when they were relevant. Yep, I'm 62 and can still remember LSU hating OLE MISS and the Go to Hell Ole Miss buttons and signs. BTW, when I attended LSU back in the late 60's and early 70's, LSU always spelled Go as Go. USL used to always say Geaux. After all, they are the Ragin Cajuns. Where in the history of LSU were they were dominated by a coonass administration? Geaux was definitely stolen from USL.
