ehh, not on every site. So no he wasnt a consensus 4*

Im just saying, he was a no name and won the heisman.

I agree the recruiting is ultimately on Miles, i dont know what we have in the qbs besides mett, im just saying the fan base talked them up, not the coach. Again the fanbase has talked these guys up to be studs before they even take a snap. They did it with Lee.

2) Jeremy Hill + McGee + whoever else are going to tear us a new one running the ball. I expect 300+ rushing yards against us and at least 3 TD by Hill.

Don't worry if we have any success running the ball then Les will air it out the rest of the game. Les has the uncanny ability to take what's working and change it. You guys have nothing to worry about

I'd imagine we'll lose a QB in the off season. Probably Rivers. If he doesnt have the job at the end of spring, I can see him going elsewhere.

No shot of starting here, and possibly moving down the chart.

Do y'all really want to go into the '14 offseason with an overwhelming number of questions at the QB position?

Mett has been hurt since Florida and can barely move at all in the pocket. Add to that his line has basically given up on the season. He's a sitting duck back there.

so bench him rt? So hes hurt but can play, lets give the future qb reps behind an oline that quit? How does this make more sense?

Really? the fanbase that gets mad when les doesnt cover the spread is now mad we didnt take the foot off the pedal in some games?

We're talking about getting Jennings ready, I could care less about the spread.... And I would rather get our next guys foot ready..... U think he's gonna be ready??? Without real game snaps???

so playing him when the team and coaches have given up is? that is essentially what you are doing.

And yes getting jennings ready has to do with people bashing the coach. He gets bashed for not blowing teams out by taking his foot off the gas, but then he gets bashed for not playing 2nd and 3rd string players, essentially saying we are done and are taking our foot off the gas.

Another pill that the fanbase needs to swallow, is the fact that not every *3 star gem is going to end up like TM7,Caliborne or Brockers. Alabama beating LSU by double digits was a product of them winning in February for multiple seasons. We gamble on some of the guys that we take and hope that the coaching staff/conditioning will turn them into studs.

There are a lot of QBs that come in and contribute without any meaningful snaps. About raw talent and off-season development. No reason even without "meaningful snaps" he can't come in and play well.

If he plays shitty, it won't be an experience issue.

How has this risk worked for LSU in the past?

Also, are you comfortable with AJ or Rivers going on the road to Auburn,UF & A&M?

My post ab recruits was driected to dukkev, saying where is all this talent. Im saying we have recruited talented qbs that the fanbase splooges over. Not all of them have made it to campus, but the majority of them had been talked up by the fans. JJ and Rivers were always seen as projects, but none of the others.

I think it means he just finished registering for spring classes. Glad to see he is taking his schooling seriously. The guy is just eager to learn.

Do you think thats because we haven't had talent and development, or lack of experience.

The only real fails we've had at QB were JJ and JLee. JJ started well and regressed. JLee just didnt progress in his first season starting. Neither played very well, even after they accumulate d experience.

Flynn and JaMarcus both played well when given their respective opportunities. So only 2 have been real fails, just so happens those sagas took up for 4 long years to the run course.

My bad, got them confused, the Houston site game against Wisconsin is next year. Would like to have Jennings prepared for that one too lol.

After Wisconsin, we have Sam Houston, ULM, Miss. St, and New Mexico St at home.

Thats plenty of time to get our starting QB prepped to hit the road.

Mett will not be under the same kind of attack from A&M's defense; they're nowhere near as good as Bama. We're going to need Beckham and Landry in order to win. Mett can get the ball to them. Jennings may not be able to.

Hill ran hard against UA

I disagree with this. He missed spots where he would usually take advantadge of. And is wasn't that Bam stopped him. He is just NOT the same RB as he was after the Ole Miss benching. Maybe its Miles NOT having the same confidence in him, BUT if that's the case Miles is a total fool. Just like benching Copeland for the rest of the game caused he fumbled . STUPID.
