It hard to believe the Teo/FakeGF story happened this year, but that's my vote. From finding out about the fake gf to having some random dude confess he set the whole thing up, that saga took a lot of turns.

The fact that the media didn't keep pressing when he finally admitted it a hoax but played the victim card is a close second. Seriously, his story still makes absolutely no sense.

I agree and it's quite possible that is what went down.
If only their relationship was as good and steady as Les Miles and Jordan Jefferson's relationship was then shite wouldn't have hit the fan like it did.

This is what baffles me, Teo definitely had a hand in the hoax and extorted a shite ton of attention from it, yet the public not only let him off the hook, but actually gave him sympathy.
