Overall I think most of us would agree that most aspects of the rebrand have been overwhelmingly positive.

The logos and color scheme are great, I admitingly was a little underwhelmed when the uniforms were unveiled but they really look great in action. Imo. The home whites are so much better than what we had last year.

My only critcism so far is i do think after watching a few games that the court design is a little bland. I understand wanting gold as the secondary color, but it doesnt really pop off the court, they could have used a glossier version of the gold or thicker trim around it in blue or red.

I think after a few years of establishing the primary logo we will probably go with one of the simpler logos in center court.

This one gets my vote, I think it's only a matter of time

At first, I wasn't a huge fan of the fleur de Pelican logo, but it is really starting to grow on me.

Their blue away jerseys look exactly like my high school jerseys, which is cool

Other than the small font I like pretty much everything about the new rebrand look

I like everything about the rebrand except the clown chicken Pierre and the removal of the club escalators.

I agree the uniforms look way better on the court than they do on the shelves. Pierre Pelican is an abomination and should be murdered. It's sucks we still don't have a live in game jazz band. We still have a bottom three NBA fan base and very tepid support.

I love the rebrand so far. For me, it harkens back to a time when team nicknames were more about local identity than intimidation. In a vacuum, names like the Maple Leafs, Orioles, Packers, Mets, Celtics and Saints (!) seem a little odd. Over time, the identities become seamless, and often iconic. But in the last couple of decades, newer teams that force fierce-sounding names down our throats, ultimately fall flat. Think Jaguars, Raptors, Grizzlies. Grizzlies isn't even that bad other than the fact that there is no true local connection between Memphis and grizzly bears.

Chris Paul poo-poo'd the new team nickname, which is ironic because he joined a team named the Clippers, an old boat with a bunch of sails. Kobe Bryant even chimed in, saying the Pelican name doesn't exactly strike fear into the opponent. Oh yeah, he's a Laker. A fricking Laker. But I guess Bryant can say that because the Lakers have created an iconic identity with time and winning. Intimidation is created through the players (like Bryant), not the mascot.

Hopefully the same can happen here.

I love it. The colors, the awesome team name. Hopefully the eventual alternate jerseys arent too garish.

Only beef would be that the chest insignia is a little small, but that's an easy fix.

Overall, i think the rebrand, along with the young talent has increased interest in this team.
