True, but OK St is stacked this year. They are being overlooked for sure.

Marcus Smart alone makes that not a dumb pick.

Probably one of the more talented teams we've had. I really hope to get to the FF this year.

The OOC is pretty interesting with UK and UNC too.

nah. it's a dumb pick. every year people explain some reason why something is not a dumb pick. every year it's a dumb pick. travis ford alone makes it a dumb pick if you wanna play that game.

ACC- Duke, I think Syracuse will be very good and not far behind though.
Big East- Marquette, I think Georgetown lost more and Buzz always has solid teams
AAC- Louisville
Big Ten- Michigan St, this is the most wide open conference.
Big 12-Kansas, but Marcus Smart and company will cause trouble.
Pac 12- Arizona, UCLA will be interesting
SEC- Kentucky, I thhink Florida won't be good until tourney time

Cinderella- Boise St

1 Seeds- Michigan St, Duke, Arizona, Kentucky

Player of the Year- Jabari Parker

National Champ- Michigan St

I said this last year about Mark Gottfried when people expected big things out of NC State.

Has Kansas ever not won the Big 12 regular season title?

Duke doesn't have a big man. Amile Jefferson/Josh Hairston are not the answer at the 5. And Marshall Plumlee is soft.

But they are LOADED at every other position. I think the 5 is what hurts them.

If Jabari Parker, Rodney Hood and Jefferson/Hairston rebound well I dont think their lack of size will be too large of a problem. It will mainly hurt them defensively when they play the few teams with a true center.

I predict that the new hand checking rules and enforcement are going to have a big impact on defenses.

In a completely unrelated note, Aaron Craft has fouled out for the season.

Despite the suspensions shite going on lately, Florida will be fine this year. Really hope we get past the E8

Florida this year just feels like another team that's gonna stall right around the Sweet 16/Elite 8 again. Lots of talent but missing any kind of a star player to push them past that hurdle, unless Kasey Hill turns out to be the truth.

watching these exhibitions so far, the hand checking is getting annoying but if people get it down, it should make things better. refs are calling it all over the place, so it seems like the onus is on the players to not do it, because it's gonna get called.

I agree. Hood especially will be able to battle on boards enough to cover their lack of size.

And to be honest, in college basketball now a days how many great centers are there anyway? Most of better post players are more Power Forward types.
